COMPASS Announces A Second Round Of School Improvement Awards

 In partnership with the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Sumner COMPASS is proud to announce that there will be a second round of School Improvement Awards offered. Please see this article for more information. These grants are for Hendersonville area schools.

In partnership with Aegis Sciences Corp., all Sumner County science teachers and school nurses may apply for the Aegis Awards.

The deadline for both of these grant opportunities is August 31st.

Cal Turner, Jr. and Michelle Rhee are the keynote speakers for the third annual COMPASS luncheon on Tuesday, July 31st at Long Hollow Baptist Church.

236 Sumner County Students Applied for TN Scholars "Educate and Grow" Scholarship

The deadline for this scholarship was March 30th, and COMPASS is delighted that so many Sumner County students took advantage of this. 

Congratulations to Station Camp High School for having the most TN Scholars, at 55 students.
